The Roebling Chapter is the New York/New Jersey regional chapter of the national Society for Industrial Archeology. The Chapter promotes the study of the physical survivals of our area's technological and industrial past.

Our activities include an annual meeting in January, a corn roast in late summer, a Symposium in the fall, and field trips to sites of interest year round.

Since 2003, we have presented the “John Augustus Roebling Award for Contributions to Industrial Archeology” in recognition of an individual, group, or organization that has made an outstanding contribution to documenting or preserving the industrial heritage of ourarea.

Our e-news keeps members informed of Chapter activities and items of IA interest.
